purchasing department to move from paper forms to this automated web system for
adding and maintaining the responsibility and authority data.

Analyst/Developer on an Employee Self Service/Manager Self Service project
which web enabled all of a managers administrative functions: Job Transfers,
Job Changes, Job Status Changes, Pay Changes, Bonuses, Leave of Absence request
and Terminations. Successfully implemented this application on time and
under budget and the system has subsequently saved Avnet a substantial amount
of money in operating costs.

Analyst/Developer on an Online Benefit Open Enrollment, New Enrollment, Life
Events and Name Change system.

Analyst/Developer on a web based dynamic total compensation statement that
employees could view at anytime to see their total compensation package with
the company. Responsible for gathering
business requirements and business analysis of current system and designing the
new system as well as developing and implementing the system in a web
environment.

Analyst/Developer on an automated paycheck and pay stubs to be displayed on the
web based system, eliminating the need for paycheck stub printing for employees
with direct deposit, saving thousands of dollars in check stub printing costs. Employees could print their stubs only when
needed and see the complete history of their paychecks/pay stubs at anytime.

analyzed, developed and maintained a web based merit planning system that the
entire company used to determine and enter pay increases for employees during
the yearly merit cycle. This system also
saved thousands of dollars for Avnet by automating a previously paper based
process of yearly merit planning.

front end consisted of an ACCESS database system that ran on the auditor’s
laptop computers in the field. This ACCESS system was written, customized and
fully implemented by one other person and me. I also maintained sole production
support for the mainframe and laptop portion of the systems.
