This
"Garden Gate" quilt was completed in 2002 from a pattern by
Carrie Nelson.
Made
from a Moda fabric collection called "Attic Treasures" - this
quilt hangs in my dining room.
Americana
Wallhanging - designed by me but using some blocks from various
published sources.
My
first completed quilt - a lap size "Jewel Box". This is
my "quilt camp" that I take on quilting weekends. I
still love it.
An
early "Bears Paw" wallhanging I made years ago. From
American Patchwork & Quilting Magazine.
Double Ninepatch
quilt I made for my husband Dave - the background fabrics have a fly
fishing theme and I've included special fabrics for him including
pictures of the "King" - Elvis of course.
A
little embroidered wallhanging I made for Easter. A "Bare
Roots" pattern.
My
second quilt ever made and my first miniature. I made it in 1992
for the "Miniature Quilts" Magazine annual contest. It
didn't win a big prize but did go on tour and was published in one of
their books.
Mosaic
Snowman" - a pattern by Shannon Williams.
This
"Garden Wall" quilt was made from a kit and hangs in my sewing
room. A fun pattern to make!
A
group of friends and I swapped Halloween blocks - this was the
result. It's pretty spooky!
A
favorite of mine - in my favorite color - pink! This was a from a
class with a local quilter - Carrie Nelson.
Another
one of Carrie Nelson's patterns - "Scrappy Moments" done in
autumn colors.
I
made this Debbie Mumm wallhanging several years ago and still put it out
every Christmas.
My
first hand-appliqued quilt. This was a block of the month pattern
by Common Threads in Mesa, AZ.
A
Thanksgiving wallhanging I did.
This Christmas
row quilt was a project in a quilt group I was in. Unfortunately I ended
up doing a lot more of it myself than I was supposed to...........but it
came out nice.
Another
Christmas favorite - nine-patch blocks with topiary trees.
This
quilt is called "Trail of Thread". Each of the 12
women in my quilting group took a chapter in the books by the same name
and designed a section of the quilt to go with the story.
Each member made their own quilt in fabrics they liked.
This scrappy strip
quilt was made on muslin foundation squares. It was so much fun to
make I plan to do more.
This mini calendar
quilt is from a design by Karen's Kraftwear. It was a lot of fun
to do with all the cute buttons on it.
Scary
Halloween wallhanging - done in wool and wool felt. Pattern by Country
Harvest.
Santa
Claus in wool - from "Winterberry Threads" by Need'l Love.
I
loved making this. It's done in felt and from a pattern by
